50 mins Backbend Strength & Openness

A steady, progressive Iyengar backbend practice designed to build strength, lift energy, and create freedom across the chest and spine. We work methodically with clear set-ups and intelligent use of props to support safe, spacious extension.

Props: Wall space, belt, bolster, and two bricks.
Level: Strong practice — previous Iyengar experience recommended.

This class brings together four short backbend segments into one seamless 50-minute session, offering a full, uplifting arc: grounding, preparation, deepening, and an integrated closing sequence. Ideal for days when you want a more energising, expansive practice.
