Sara Falvey Yoga

WELCOME

Welcome — I’m Sara Falvey, an Iyengar Yoga teacher based in Galway.
I’ve been teaching since 2007, bringing clarity, warmth, and careful attention to detail to every class I teach. My approach supports students of all ages and abilities to build strength, steadiness, and deeper awareness — both on and off the mat.

I teach weekly adult classes in Croí Nua, Taylors Hill, a light-filled and welcoming space with full props provided and free parking. Alongside studio classes, I offer Yoga for Teens in local secondary schools, specialist yoga sessions for children, and Kids Yoga & Art Summer Camps each August.

My new Online Studio offers short practices, beginners-friendly classes, restorative sessions, and guided sequences to support a steady home practice — anytime, anywhere.

About Sara

I’ve been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 2007 and continue to study regularly with senior teacher Aisling Guirke, working toward my Iyengar Level 2 certification. Ongoing study through workshops, retreats, and international training keeps my teaching grounded, evolving, and inspired.

My teaching is shaped by close attention to alignment, intelligent sequencing, and the belief that yoga should be accessible, supportive, and empowering for every body.

I’ve had the joy of leading yoga retreats in places like Inis Mór and Spanish Point, offering students dedicated time to deepen their practice and experience rest and renewal by the sea. I look forward to continuing these retreats as my community grows.

Beyond my adult classes, I’ve been teaching yoga to children and teenagers for over a decade — from joyful Kids Yoga & Art Summer Camps, to Yoga for Teens programmes in schools, to specialist yoga sessions for children with additional needs. My classes help young people develop focus, confidence, resilience, and calm through movement, breathwork, and relaxation.

As both a yoga teacher and a primary school educator, I bring patience, clarity, and a deep understanding of how people learn. Whether online, in schools, or in the studio, I aim to create a space where each student feels supported, curious, and connected.
